Eddy Kenzo’s Bet award did not come overnight

It is our time. We are still marching on and together we shall step into the Promised Land. It is my time, manufactured here.

It is that word that solves the deepest problems. I swear, in the name of the living God, that no stone will remain unturned. I am sorry.  Last time I discussed religion. But you must have learnt something from what I wrote.

A pastor will turn a believer upside down again and again, and again, until he squeezes even the most useful coin from him. Truth, said, will one day land me in gigantic problems. But whom do I fear? I am afraid of nothing. Fear cannot bring you anything admirable. It cannot!

We shall say it all, and all the people will be saved. Now, I am facing the audience I thought I could preach to, at this time this year. I pray that more people join us so that I may completely avoid going back to the topics I tackled months ago. I said, months ago, that the only thing you can do to hurt those who hurt you is to succeed. ‘Success is the best revenge’.

This is true and all successful people agree with it. If you were stepped on and used, like a door mat, by someone, open your eyes. If someone used you and wiped his dirty feet using you, do not go to war with swords or dirty words. We do not fight using fists or swords. Brave journalists or writers use their pens, to even overthrow hated governments.

Wisdom is more dangerous than the most dangerous weapon on earth. If I am annoyed,I go and meditate, walking through the sugarcane plantations in Luuka district or Kakira.

I then come back and react.All my enemies know what I always achieve when I become angry. Tit- for- tat! You know, someone alive must do something.  Let me guide you, again, and tell you what you must do with people who make your life uncomfortable. Stop grumbling.

Do not sit back to cry alone. I will answer all your questions. I am here for you. Fight back. Someone thought I would not write to inspirepeople. Now, theworld has agreed that words, put down on paper, or spoken, can mend broken souls and broken hearts.

As you look, to observe what istaking place, beyond you, you observe that so many people, especially women and children, have been treated savagely. Ill-mannered people are so many people in this world. People are crying.

Our enemies defeat us twice, not once, if we give up before succeeding. Look, if you gave up before this time with me, surely you wouldn’t possess the desire that you today have. Revenge is allowed and your enemies must be hurt deeply.

You must overtake your enemies. Work, and work, while thinking, and succeed, my friend.It is the weapon you can use against your enemies and a lot of pain will be felt by them. Do you think all people are happy with me?

This struggle continues. In the music industry, in churches and mosques people are appreciating us. I lost Abel Dhaira. He had no child. He had no wife and his house still incomplete.People must learn lessons from that.

Be patient,we are still together. Besigye nags the president of this country so much. Listen, Besigye will never be president as long as Mr. Museveni is still with appetite and allowed, by the constitution of this country,to contest.

We are taught to hurt our enemies so much that they should cry so much and loudly. And politicians with power have learned the art of revenging. You say, but they will never change. He sees himself approaching death but he never changes.

Gaddafi had ruled for more than four decades. He met death the day he least expected it. But now, look, he had enemies, and these kept him in power. The opposition in Zimbabwe has kept Robert Mugabe in power.

Sometimes we spend nights awake. It’s our enemies or competitors who drive us into that. You are up and coming. Are you surrounded by men and women who doubt you, in your field and outsidethere? Practice, and practice, and  train hard. One day you will be seen up at the podium receiving a BET.

The world is full of ignorant people but few people can accept when told that a person ‘full of words’ can accomplish anything.  ‘Deeds, not words’. Let it be our motto forever. And the ‘Hit’ will arrive when the right time comes. Successful peoplehad no unique qualities before they arrived.

They had few unique secrets. They persisted,just, and it is the only thing that enabled them to go up to the top of the world, leading in their chosen fields.‘Tit- for –tat’. I had to succeed so that my enemies could lie down, on the floor, to cry! Do not give up!
