Ugandan police have launched an investigation into the death of 25-year-old Caroline Nalubwama, who reportedly suffered severe injuries at the residence of city socialite Bryan Kirumira, widely known as Bryan White, in Kyamula, Makindye Division, Kampala.

According to police, Nalubwama was rushed to Kiruddu Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.

“Preliminary information indicates that the deceased was at the home of Mr Bryan Kirumira alias Bryan White when the incident occurred,” stated ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the deputy spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Police.

Investigators visited the scene, collected several pieces of evidence, and later transferred Nalubwama’s body to City Mortuary Mulago for a post-mortem examination.

Police further confirmed that the suspect, who also sustained injuries during the alleged incident, is currently receiving medical treatment and has recorded a statement to assist with inquiries. “We are working to obtain CCTV footage and interview more witnesses to reconstruct the sequence of events. Further details will be shared as the investigation progresses,” Owoyesigyire added.

Bryan White gained prominence in 2017 after launching a charity foundation that attracted young followers and celebrities through cash handouts and lavish public displays of wealth.
