Bruno K: “A Star waiting to shine”
Bruno Collins Kiggundu, Bruno K, is the latest music sensation in Kampala/ He is new star glowing in the dark with sweet love ballads that include: Nkooye okulowooza, Make Some Love, Turning Me On, among others. He is taking the music industry by storm.
At the age of 22, Bruno K, has done several collabos (collaborations), that include Turning Me On with Raba-Daba. Raba-Daba, too, is back in the musical world with the number, Your Body.Bruno K is looking forward to more music and collabos with Tekno Miles, a Nigerian-based music icon, popularly know for his songs like; Pana.
Bruno K from Mukono District, graduated with a Bachelors’ degree in Mass Communications at Ndejje University. He has never practiced Journalism since, but plans to practice his profession when he retires from music.
In a one-on-one with this reporter, Bruno K, said that his musical inspiration hails from the Lifebuoy Band from the United Kingdom whose music he grew up listening to. “My voice and my lyrics are good, my production is on to the point, and I think that’s the reason why people love my music. I always do my best and leave the rest to God because he’s the way, truth and the light,” he said.
The Nkooye Okuloowoza singer rose to fame in early 2015 after the Airtel Trace Competition which exposed him to the music industry. Ever since, he has been trying to maintain his fame.
He did his first audio recording, titled Still into You, at Buddies Studio. It was written by Daggy Nyce. He has nowgone to different studios to record different songs. It was at Badi World Studio that he recorded the Nkooye Okulowooza song.
