Bruno K: good to work with legends

After making a club anthem with his song, One for the Road, singer, Bruno Collins Kigundu, 25, a.k.a., Bruno K, made a remix with the music legend, Kabuye Ssemboga, in his song, Ebisaanyi. The original audio version of this song was done in the late 90’s, and it became a major hit.

Bruno K told this reporter said that it has always been his dream to work with Ssemboga because of his good work towards the music industry. He has also looked up to Ssemboga in the music industry and he refers to him as a legend. “It was such a great experience working with my mentor and one of the greatest music icons in Uganda’s music industry,” he said.

He added: “I met Ssemboga at Madris Restaurant last year where we both had a gig. It was a great honour for me to be working with him there and that’s where I proposed to make a collabo with him. He accepted and we made a remix of his legendary song Ebisaanyi in a reggae version.”

Bruno K said that this song was recorded at City Hill studios and a video version was forthcoming. He believes that Ebisaanyi will make a hit like the previous; One for the Road, Nkooye Okulowooza and Make some Love.

This young talent and guitar player believes that this is one of the many collabos that are coming; that the music industry has a sight for him. “I believe making collabos with people who have been in the industry for a long time helps us to grow musically and we learn more from them,” he said.
