English Football mourns Leicester tragedy

Late Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha

English football clubs and fans have united in expressing solidarity with their Leicester colleagues following Saturday’s helicopter crash that killed the club’s owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and four other people.

The Thai billionaire died in a personal helicopter just outside the club’s stadium on Saturday.

Since the tragic accident, English football clubs and fans have poured Leicester with condolences, in diverse ways.

Besides the thousands of bouquets and social media messages that fans have sent the 2016 Eglish Premier League Champion’s a number of them have used graphical illustrations to express sorrow.

Arsenal mourned

For instance, one one twitter user transformed the Fox in the Leicester logo into a crying or sorrowful fox (with eyes closed).

Manchester United displayed a prominent banner on its website.

Srivaddhanaprabha has been hailed for laying the foundations for the greatest sporting story in history when they overcame 5000/1 odds to win the English premiership trophy in 2016.
