Disability not Inability : Contemporary dance lessons for the disabled
Mambya Dance Group, the organizers of the just concluded Tuzine Festival at the National Theatre, had something special for people with disabilities.
They equipped over 20 of them with contemporary dance and choreography skills.
One of the facilitators, Dennis Plassard, from France, urged the dancers to believe in themselves and keep their bodies safe and fit. He taught them basics of choreography and principles.
Ariry Andriamoratsiresy from Mozambique urged them to fight for their rights as well as keep away from drugs.
