Bush Sr. dies
Bush served as the 41st US president between 1989 and 1993. died late on Friday.
The former president had been receiving treatment for a form of Parkinson’s disease and had been admitted to hospital with a blood infection in April.
His Son, George W Bush, was also President of the US. The Bushes are remembered for launching wars in the Arab world allegedly to counter terrorism. Bush senior ordered what is largely known as the First Iraq war or The Gulf War (August 2 1990 – 28 February 1991), allegedly to stop Saddam Husein’s invasion of Kuwait.
His son George W Bush also declared war in Iraq in 2003 that ended into a near total destruction of the country.
