Confirmed: Christine Alalo was on ill-fated flight

After reports of Uganda’s Police Commissioner Christine Alalo’s death circulated on Sunday afternoon, Senior Police Commissar Asan Kasingye through twitter refuted the news and confirmed the reports as fake. Subsequent reports stated she had used Turkish Airlines.
However, Uganda’s Deputy Special Representative of the chairperson of African Union for Somalia ‘AMISOM’ Simon Mulongo revealed that Christine had been on board and she lost her life.
Mulongo said that Alalo had communicated with her driver and instructed him to pick her Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 10am and the crashed plane was scheduled to arrive in Nairobi at 10: 30 am on Sunday.
‘We are waiting for a manifest from Ethiopian Airlines and we will Issue official communication. We are saddened by the death of our colleague.’ Mulongo said
