Archbishop Yona Lwanga
The head of the Orthodox community in Uganda Metropolitan Yona Lwanga has passed on. He was 76 years old.
The cause of the late prelate’s death is yet to be revealed.
Lwanga will be remembered by most Ugandans not for his religious sermons but for his fierce criticism of the NRM government under President Museveni.
