Museveni ignores western warnings, signs Anti-Homosexuality bill

President Yoweri Museveni has ignored warnings and criticism from western donors and other human rights organisations and sig into law the controversial Anti-Homosexuality Bill.
A statement from the Speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among confirmed the development.
The law provides for a 20-year prison sentence for anyone convicted of engaging in acts of homosexuality as well as a death penalty for aggravated homosexuality.
