Speaker Kadaga tasks minister to explain rampant killings

The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has asked the Security Minister Henry Tumukunde and his Internal Affairs counterpart, Gen Jeje Odong to explain the rampant killings of women in Wakiso district.
This comes after atleast 19 women were killed in different parts of Wakiso in a space between May and August.
The ministerial statements will be tabled on Tuesday next week as Parliament resumes business after a one-month recess.
The Speaker, addressed journalists at Parliament in Kampala, also condemned the killings.
