Makerere Students Likely To Miss Graduation

Most of the students and parents at Makerere University are in jolly mood waiting for graduation but this is not the same a few of the students as they are likely to miss graduation.
Students from different colleges were seen puzzled and confused as their names were missing from the graduation books and others lacked gowns and hoods.
A student from the college of education who did not like to identify his identity said he is in the final list of his college but he was surprised when he could not find his name in the final graduation book, an incident he attributed to the universities management
Joyce Nankya from the college of sciences said they are lacking Graduation Hoods and they are remaining with less than three days to graduation.
Nankya said there is no way she will be differentiated from students of other colleges if she does not have a hood and attributed the delay of the hoods to the university Management which has failed to decentralize services as all universities like MUBS among others affiliated to Makerere are being worked upon at the institution
Students said they are worried and don’t know their fate they might miss out on the graduation and called upon the University Management to sort out the Mess not later than 14th January since they cleared everything in time.
