Ethiopian airlines jet crash claims 157 lives of 33 nationalities
An Ethiopian airline that crushed six minutes after taking off had 149 passengers and eight crew members with 33 nationalities on board.
The Flight ET 302 that crashed near the town of Bishoftu, 62 kilometres southeast of the capital Addis Ababa. The plane was a Boeing 737-800 MAX, registration number ET-AVJof departure from Addis Ababa airport to Nairobi ‘The flight had unstable vertical speed after takeoff,’ the flight tracking website Flightradar24 tweeted.
Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their dear ones in the accident

Until now, a clear cause for the accident is still unknown.
