
Western Uganda came alive Saturday night as singer Ray G delivered a thrilling live concert at Kakyeka Stadium, drawing thousands of fans for one of the region’s biggest music events of the year.
The “Ray G Live in Concert” show featured an energetic set packed with the artist’s popular Runyankore and Afro-fusion hits, backed by a live band and stunning lighting effects. Fans sang along to every song, turning the venue into a wave of sound, color, and emotion.
Born Reagan Muhairwe, Ray G has become a symbol of pride for Western Uganda’s music scene. His homecoming performance in Mbarara showcased both his musical growth and the region’s rising influence in Uganda’s entertainment industry.
Organizers praised the smooth turnout and electric crowd energy, noting that the event ran into the night with minimal hitches.
The concert reaffirmed Ray G’s place among Uganda’s top performers and proved that big-stage music thrives well beyond Kampala.
