Matembe Cashes in on Her Memoir

Unflappable former minister in President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s government Miria Matembe is a very happy lady these days because her book is a hot seller.

Unlike other ex-politicians who often resort to begging their former boss for a source of livelihood, Matembe spends much of her time promoting her book and making money out of it.

During the recent launch of a Gender-responsive curriculum for Media trainees and media houses, Matembe sold a number of copies to media trainers as she recounted her past experiences with a lot of humour.
