FDC here to uproot thieves – Ssemuju
Opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) is striving to evict the National Resistance Movement (NRM) “thieves”, according Ibrahim Ssemuju Nganda, the Kyadondo East MP.
At a rally held at Joka’s Hotel in Bweyogerere recently, Nganda said that the NRM had exploited Uganda for a very long time.
“This is not an ordinary rally. We have not come here for the usual gathering. We are here to forge a way forwad on how to get rid of the thieves,” Nganda said.
Former FDC President Dr. Kizza Besigye told the gathering that Uganda was among the richest countries in the world but its citizens were very poor because the ruling NRM had taken all the powers in its hands.
“First of all you should not live in fear any more. You need to change your mindset and lastly act,” Besigye advised.
Kawempe Mayor Mohammed Munyagwa advised the people in Buganda not to compromise their potential and power.
“Every region despises Museveni, including kiruhura where he was born,” Munyagwa said. During the same occasion FDC membership cards were sold at Shs 1000
