Muslims tipped on Hajj contest
Muslims in Uganda have an opportunity to win Hajj trips to the Holly City of Mecca by entering into a competition that seeks to deepen their understanding of the Islamic tradition.
According to a statement from the Director of The Muslim World League Sheikh Obed Kamulegeya, the competition will end in winners receiving prestigious prizes including performing Hajj and Umrah as well as electronic gadgets like Mobile phones.
Competitors have been urged to log on the Muslim World League website www.themwl.org
The shift from the old tradition towards the use of the internet platforms, has been described as a positive step that will encourage Muslims to discover and embrace the internet as a source of knowledge.
