Top City LGBT torture victim still missing

Information reaching our desk indicates that a one Mr Ismail Ssebuliba who is an alleged LGBT activist is still missing following information that he was subjected to brutality him.

It is understood that following an attack that saw Mr Ismail beaten to pulp by unknown gang on December 23, 2017 in down town Kampala, He was again attacked by city cyclists who reportedly accused him of aiding gay activities.

Shockingly, Mr Ismail was invaded at his home and badly beaten by men who disguised as thieves.

A closer associate to Mr Ismail who seeks anonymity indicated to our reporter that for many years Mr Ismail has been subscribing to gay activities and he has been giving aid to members of gay communities.

“He has been part of the LGBT movement and he has always had issues with police” he adds

It is understood that on August/ 2016 when police raided Venom night club in Kampala, Mr Ismail was among the victims who were mysteriously arrested and battered in custody.

LGBTI Ugandans routinely face violence, discrimination, bigotry, blackmail, and extortion.

Another source indicates that Mr Ismail was summoned to appear before court to answer sodomy charges which he skipped.
