The minster for Finance, Planning and Economic Development Matia Kasaija has said the stinking poverty in Kampala is Flabbergasting
Kasaija who was a chief guest at the launch of the Equal opportunity commission report on dissemination of Assessment Results for the compliance of the national Budget Framework papers with Gender equity requirements at imperial Royale hotel in Kampala said the rich are rich and the poor are poor
Kasaija said People in Kampala are living like Animals giving an example in areas where over 900 people are said to be sharing one latrine which he said is embarrassing
Kasaija also warned the rich people who are not minding about the poor in their areas. ”you cannot enjoy your wealth in a sea of poverty people will revolt against you” said Kasaija.
Kasaija called upon government to think about the people of Kampala and mind about job creation and developing youth programs as the Inequality will stem conflicts.
