Kenzo nominated for Ghana Music Awards
Kenzo up for Ghana Awards
Days after receiving a nod in the Nigerian entertainment awards, Uganda’s music star, Eddie Kenzo, the BET award winner, has now been nominated for the Ghana Music Awards in the United Kingdom.
In this African Artist of the Year category, Kenzo will contend with other big artists on the African Continent, including; Wizkid, Mr. Eazi and Run Town.
Widely referred to Rema’s husband, here, Kenzo has expressed excitement about the nomination. He said, “Another nomination in Ghana Music Awards for the UK African Artist of the Year! Yee! Jubilation master.” Kenzo called upon every Ugandan to vote for him so that this music accolade comes to Uganda. Voting is only done on-line; so one can use a smart phone or computer to vote.
Now in their second edition, the Ghana Music Awards seek to shine a spotlight on the excelling African music scene. This year’s winners will be announced at a ceremony that will be held in London, on September 16th, 2017.
