End Childtrafficking Uganda to Celebrate #MyFreedomDay
Local Anti-human trafficking body Endchildtrafficking Campaign Uganda will be commemorating the international #MyFreedomDay against modern slavery.
According to activist William Otako of Endchildtrafficking Campaign Uganda the celebrations will be held at Bishop Sisto Mazzolidi Secondary School together with student the Anti-human-trafficking school club of Bishop Sisto Mazzolidi Secondary School.
Part of the event will be students performances, poems, dances and skits all addressing issues on modern slavery in order to raise awareness. Additionally, the anti-human-trafficking club of Mazzolidi will officially be launched on that day.
“ Our overall goal of the day is bringing talented and committed students together to join hands to raise awareness on modern slavery and child trafficking” Otako
He adds that the event is organized by the Endchildtrafficking Campaign Uganda and its partner organizations Papa Odet Foundation, FourSum Uganda ,Wrist house Uganda,Teberere Arts Foundation, and Bishop Sisto Mazzolidi Secondary School.
