City socialite and god’s girl Sheila Carol Gashumba sued two of La paroni’s Sunday fundays organizers with claims that they misused her brand.
Word was said, fans and followers commented as different bloggers and celebrities shared opinions on who owns a picture after it’s taken whether in a club, restaurant or outdoor space.
La paroni’s communication manager Harry Sagara through a press release revealed that the hang out already has a disclaimer their customers follow while in their place.
“We do have a disclaimer that states that “by entering our premises, you consent to interviews, photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition or reproduction to be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, telecasts advertising, inclusion on websites, or any other purposes by La paroni’s limited and its affiliates and representatives.”
It was also clarified that the management has no intention of using Sheila’s pictures in any advertising campaign as they work and have already worked with a big number of both local and international celebrities.
