Of Jennifer’s lone rides and MUK’s car bond
Kiira-EV- The car that was invented by Makerere but is not on the market
Kampala Capital City Authority’s Jennifer Musisi has been launching something I understood to be a train service between Mukono and Kampala, it is I think three times that I have seen her doing this very noble job unfortunately I have never seen the train that she has launched.
Its worrying that this service which has been launched countless times has up to now not reached the population that it is intended to serve I have only seen Jennifer alone riding in this train.
Now my question to Madam Jennifer, when are we people of Mukono going to enjoy these rides and if the train is not about to reach us why do you continue to launch when you are not ready? Just asking.
Similary, the Makerere University students have been making cars which have been show cased to Ugandans but up to today I am still wondering whether there is a bond of these MUK alleged cars.
Is there a bond somewhere that sells these cars? Why do they continue to invent things that will never see the light of day. When ever other countries invent something new, it becomes a national pride and it starts being used by the populations of those nations.
I am not against inventions but these inventions should become a realti somehow we are tired of seeing inventions year after year without something tangible coming out of it.
