Abitex buys CBS’s Nkuuka gig at 130 million
When the Masaza soccer tournament were in trouble for failure to get a sponsor, stepped in, little did he know that he will be taking home bags of monies, this is because he made tenfold in profits.
Now, Kakofiira seems to have discovered that Buganda’s gigs are money laden. As we speak now Rafiki has learnt that he has paid upfront for the CBS Nkuuka that is slated on the last day of 2015, Rafiki has learnt that on top of the 130, he paid to the management of CBS, he is now looking for Ushs 170m to make the day perfect.
Among the expenses pending are, sounds, which is provided by’ Silks events’, here he has to cough 60 million for the sound, this includes 3 stages , one for musicians, another for comedians and the third one for video jokers, like Junior and Jingo (this is the first time such an arrangement is in place).
He will be left with paying security and to hire musicians where another 100 million will be spent. This will make the whole thing to cost a whooping 300 million!
But Abitex is not worried about these expenses because the projected income from this investment is estimated to be between 600m – 800m…..
This has made Rafiki to conclude that indeed working hard is not the key to riches, but working smart.
Rafiki wishes Abitex all the luck!
