
The West Nile Youth for Museveni group has reaffirmed its commitment to mobilizing support for the NRM presidential flag bearer, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, as well as NRM Parliamentary candidates across the region.
During a meeting held in Arua, the youths shared their mobilization strategies with parliamentary candidates, the city mayor, division mayors, and councilors. The discussions centered on strengthening voter outreach and ensuring effective campaign coordination.
According to Akira Maida, the group’s Publicity Secretary, they are “drawing plans to protect votes and encourage youth participation in voting.”
Arua Central Division mayoral aspirant, Saidy Baguma, applauded the group for its dedication, urging them to also “sensitize voters on civic rights so that they can actively participate in the election.”
Meanwhile, Zoe Bakoko Bakoru, the Arua City NRM Party Chairperson, promised to work closely with the youth movement to boost voter mobilization efforts.
In the same spirit, the NRM parliamentary candidates in Arua City have harmonized their campaign programs in preparation for the official start of the parliamentary campaigns on Monday, 10th November 2025.
