Pupils of Stella Maris Nsuube during the recently concluded primary school music festivals

Last week it was the National schools music festivals at the National theatre. As usual it was a Music, Drama and Creativity battle amongst several primary schools in the country.

Over 40 schools participated in the week long festival and the gig was finally won by Mugwanya Preparatory Primary School Kabojja, closely followed by Stella Maris Nsuube Boarding primary school following their extra ordinary display in all items.

Out of all the several activities that where staged, This writer was thrilled by the extraordinary “Ganda” dance stunts displayed by Stella Marris and the extra ordinary drumming skills yet it’s a primary school for girls only.

The best dancer emerged as a one Mwendeze Joan from Stella Marris who told this writer that her role model is Rema Namakula because of her Musical style and discipline

Qn: In Which class are you? We are all pupils of Stella Maris Boarding Primary School Nsuube and we are in primary six.

Qn: Of all school activities why did you choose music?   Uhmmmm Lamunu Tracy P6 exclaims. Music! It is the food for the soul and we all feel that it is our talent.

Qn: we believe you would like to be future musical stars, which music icon would like to emulate?

They all raise up their hands. Lamunu Tracy points out Rema Namakula. All students of Nsuube lauded Rema as their star citing her non controversial lifestyle
