Thousands graced the annual Bayimba music festival that saw people of different colours and culture come together to celebrate Music, Art and Culture at Uganda National Theatre last week.

Unlike the previous Bayimba festivals, the 2016 Bayimba Festival attracted more numbers that if the organisesr were not well prepared they would have gotten over whelmed by the numbers but thank God they were prepared for this.

A lot was at stake besides Music there was a prestigious fashion show, coupled with theatrics in the auditorium, plus  artefacts on sale among other thingss.

To borrow one African saying “Good music goes with good food” with the variety of drinks and foods available reveller got a fill as Uganda’s newly christened International delicacy “Rolex” (Chapatti and eggs) was availed in different cousines, it attracted a good number of both locals and Zungus.

Performances by MoRoots, Iryn Namubiru and the Acappella gospel band Canaan Gents performed some of their best music while South Africa’s Tribute Mboweni provided a taste of southern Africa.

Without doubt, Bayimba Festival of the Arts is Uganda’s number one Festival dont miss next year.
