Pearl Rhythm exhibits thrilling performances
The Pearl Rhythm Festival exposed the true definition of Ugandan culture through music, instruments and dance. This was at the National Theatre last weekend.
The fiesta was a series of sizzling performances – from Amaro with her exciting love tales to Sandra Kay who put up an energetic performance as she twirled to her Lusoga songs.
The young Baguma Andeleya’s presentation was not only exciting but also had great message. His song Mbasabira Mirembe fosters unity among humanity and also gives courage to the refugees. I remember a young fan joined Chimey Buka on stage and showed his best moves.
Micheal Ongalo’s skilful hands on the guitar left the audience amazed. The electrifying sound from his guitar and his fascinating voice could not help but bring out the best from his songs like Mwanangu, Wazazi, Safari and others.
Aloysius Migadde, Sammy Kasule, undercover brothers and Suzan Kerunen the event organiser also put up great performances.
