Justice Kavuma to rule on Mbabazi case on Thursday
Acting deputy Chief Justice, the NRM Chief Whip as the new NRM secretary general replacing Amama Mbabazi and Richard Todwong as her deputy.
He also nominated Rosemary Namayanja, the minister of Information and National Guidance as the party’s treasurer replacing Amelia Kyambadde, the minister of Trade.
However, on December 24 Benjamin Alipanga, a student of Kent University sued NRM, arguing that the decisions of the delegates’ conference were illegal.
Interestingly, the NRM Central Executive Committee is also expected to meet today to approve the recently nominated office bearers.
The application also seeks to announce as illegal the recent NRM Parliamentary Caucus decision taken in Kyankwanzi which ring-fenced Mr Museveni as the party’s sole presidential candidate.
