Pakistanis want to invest in manufacturing, commerce

Turkey and Srilanka last week met spiritual leaders of Islam as well as notables in the business community to reveal their plans to do business in Uganda.

The delegation was led by Uganda’s honorary consul to Pakistani Prof. Awais Raoof and met with the titular head of the Kibuli-based Muslim faction Prince Kassim Nakibinge and business leaders in Kampala.

Prince Nakibinge told the group of businessmen during a dinner held at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala that Uganda is a safe place to do business because of the prevailing peace.

Prof. Raoof said the investors want to do business with Ugandans in a wide range of areas such as manufacturing, commerce and processing.
