Kampala University Nursing School graduation in pictures
Prof. Badru Kateregga revealed that on its third graduation ceremony, set, 9, set 10, 11 and 12 who completed studies between 2013 and 2015.
The students included those from Uganda and the East African Community and Out – of the 269 Graduands 23% were male and 77% were female.
Kateregga cautioned government to increase the pay of Nurses which will also motivate them to work hard and also stop those who move abroad for Better pay.
He also condemned Nurses and health officials who mis-handle patients saying that they should exercise professionalism and emulate the works of Nightingale who initiated nursing in the world.
In attendance was Minister for Kampala Olive Betty Namisango Kamya who was the chief guest, Kampala’s Deputy Lord Mayor Sarah Kanyike Ssebagala among other dignitaries
