Gera Mosha, the proprietor of Bon Appetit, one of Kampala’s most enduring and successful fast food restaurants has passed away. Mosha, who was also one of Hajj Nasser Ntege Ssebaggala’s wives, died this morning.

The cruel hand of death has grabbed Mosha, on the day Kampala’s former Mayor John Sebaana Kizito was being laid to rest at his ancestral home in Bulemeezi.

The tenacious entrepreneur and business woman will likely be missed for having managed to sustain her string of restaurants for over two decades through difficult times.

It is not clear yet what caused Mosha’s death but sources close to Dewinton Road around which she had three restaurants, say she was suffering from ill-health for quite some time.

In what appears to be a fateful coincidence, as seen from the online picture, is that Mosh has passed away hardly a month after the death of one of her friends and former minister of water Maria Lubega Mutagamba.
