Why I don’t want to die?

According to most studies, you are better off in the casket than doing the eulogy. But whether we fear death or not we shall die one day.
They say that when death comes looking for his bride you cannot hide. If you think am joking ask Afande Kaweesi, Mufti Kayongo, Idi Amin, Princess Diana, Lucy Dube and Micheal Jackson.
Guys, if you have not died just thank God. I always read the obituary page of most Newspapers and I feel relieved when my name is not there. I also feel relieved when someone is delivering
a eulogy and I realize that I’m listening to it.
Actually that is the only assurance I have that it’s not me who is dead. Nobody is ready to meet their creator. And if you are ready to me meet Him you can’t be sure that He is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting you especially as sinful as you may be.
Nothing in life is certain except death and taxes. Those who died and those who pay taxes agree with me. When American President John Fitzgerald Kennedy died there was unprecedented grief in America. Kennedy was an American politician who served as the 35th President of the United States from January 1961 until his assassination in November 1963. His death was a tragedy.
Not only did he leave behind his wife and young children but left behind a nation. Kennedy’s tragic death stages the question for the United States of “what could have been?” In only three years Kennedy achieved more than most other presidents but three fatal shots ended an unfulfilled life.
May be Kennedy never touched lives around the world beyond the American people? What about the legendary pop-star Michael Jackson? It was in 2009 when the world lost him. Jackson was a singer, songwriter, producer, choreographer, entertainer and humanitarian.
It is on record that he donated, at least, a remarkable 300,000,000 dollars to charity. The saddest thing is that most people living today grew up listening to his songs and dancing his break- dance strokes. It’s unfortunate that some people had accused him of molesting kids but now he is death is dead. Michael’s music still rocks in clubs, at parties and in our homes.
If you don’t know Princess Diana then you don’t know anything. Diana, Princess of Wales, was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, who is the eldest child and heir apparent of Queen Elizabeth II.
Her death was one of the most shocking deaths in the world because she was so active with helping humanitarian aid in the 3rd world countries. The car 1997 crash, in which she died with her boyfriend Dodi Alfayed, deprived the world of a human being with a divine and helping heart. Diana stood for the poor and the world will always remember her for that.
Lovers of RAGGAE music will always live to mourn after losing their king Lucky Dube. South Africa, in particular, was united in grief and anger after the murder of the country’s favorite reggae star, who was shot dead in front of his children in a botched car-jacking. Three men approached the car and shot the singer at close range.
Dube attempted to drive away from the gunmen but lost control of the car and ran into a tree. Andrew Felix Kaweesi should rest assured that he was not alone because Lucky Duce also faced the same fate. We pray that the perpetuators of such murders are brought to justice.
The unfair facts about death are; people mourn for sometimes and all of a sudden forget about you. Secondly your death does not affect the price of tomatoes in Owino market and thirdly even when you die people still go to the lodges to get happy. This is unfair.
