Promoters book Bobi Wine’s first Engule Tour
It looks like music promoters Abitex, Bajjo and Balunywa are unbothered about the current raucous surrounding Bobi Wine’s latest hit Tuliyambala Engule as they have already booked three of his shows to happen in July or August.
The song has not only sparked off ownership rights arguments among religious leaders but also caused discomfort to Pastor Wilson Bugembe as he now regrets participating in the Crown song.
Abitex and his fellow promoters have already paid UGX 500m to the artiste turned politician, booking three of his shows including one in Masaka, another in Gulu, and the main concert whose venue remains unnamed.
Rafiki, however, thinks that these promoters are trying to attract the President’s attention in order to grab his cash when these shows are cancelled, as is likely to be the case.
