Lutaaya’s Nu Eagles gets historic home
For anyone who follows band music in Uganda, the venue in Makindye called ‘AY’ is as historical as history itself.
This was the headquarters of the original ‘Eagles Production’ numerous other bands, it is also the mother of Mitanda’s Ku Luzi’ now on Salama road.
Now Rafiki has learnt that Lutaaya has snapped up the place that is opposite the military barracks, and he is refurbishing it to a modern new look!
Lutaaya seems to be trying to capture the whole of Makindye’s night life after just this year opening up a bar in this place dubbed the Mecca of Ugandan Musicians.
The way he transformed the bar which is now bears the group’s name brought envy to many, and now with this new development the sky is the limit, here the grapevine can only tell them congs!!!!!!
