Nabuufu, who was born in North Middlesex Hospital London on the 25th Feb 1994 attended St. Paul Junior School, before joining Towers Convent in West Sussex for secondary to St. Charles for College school and currently pursuing her greatest subject for a a degree in clinical Psychology at the University in Birmingham.
With just flying back to Uganda once or twice in a year, Angela is fluent in Luganda and she attributes this to her grandmother Gertrude Nakanwaji a former primary school teacher in Kiteezi (Uganda) also living in London who taught her how to speak Luganda and taught her about her Ganda culture.
Angela has been exposed to music from a very young age. At just seven- she taught herself how to play the piano and now plays it at an exceptional level. Her music talents progressed over the years; she furthermore acquired skills in song writing, guitar/bass playing and music software/studio production.
During her secondary time, she managed to compose songs that were performed by her school choir at various events both in and outside school. Angela gained 10 GCSEes all at A*-C grades. Her A* in music is evidence that her composing skills were flawless as she achieved full marks in both her GCSE compositions in August 2011.
Having worked on projects with high profile Ugandan producers and Video directors like Paddy Man, Derek Pro, Kiwuwa, and her latest is with Swangz Avenue which is handled by her promotional agency called Green Light Entertainment under Deejay Bobby Illest she has produced a song called Ghetto Love which is today rocking Kampala’s nightclubs and radio playlists.
Her collabo ‘‘hands in the air‘‘ with Ugandan dancehall artist Coco Finger was a massive hit that even prompted music critics branding her among the next products of urban music which even led to her nominations in the++ Hipipo Music Awards in category of Best artist in Diaspora.
