Archbishop Lwanga calls on Luwero to value education

The Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese Reverend Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga (Pictured) has urged the people of Luwero triangle to stop lamenting about the war but to start working for development.

Rev. Dr. Cyprian was addressing thousands of people who joined the family of late Vitali Damulira to celebrate their awards of PhD in Economics to Dr. Sengonzi Edward Damulira and a PhD in Building Engineering to Dr. Ruth Sengonzi at Kyamutakasa village in Nakaseke district.

He said that Nakaseke and Luwero Districts had for many years been having only two learned families; Dr. Kisamba Mugerwa and that of Professor Kiddu Makubuya.

Now, who represented President Yoweli Museveni at the occasion, highlighted the need for parents to educate their children as the only way through which they can prepare them for a competitive life ahead.

President Museveni gave the family 2 cows to support their income generating project.
