Katumba decorates Muhoozi at pipping ceremony

The out-going Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General Edward Katumba Wamala displayed a sign of magnanimity when he decorated his successor Maj. Gen. David Muhoozi to the top rank of a four start General.

In similar fashion, Lt. General Charles Angina, who has been Deputy CDF, also decorated his successor Maj. Gen. Mbadi with the rank of Lt. General.

Gen. Katumba Wamala told top ranking military men at the pipping ceremony that he was happy a new blood of young army leadership is coming on board.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the decoration of Brig. Proscovia Nalweyiso by Gen. Katumba to the highest rank ever attained by a female soldier
