Sir Alex Ferguson is showing signs of quick recovery following Saturday’s operation
Sir Alex Ferguson is showing early signs of recovery following last Saturday’s emergency operation to stop brain haemorrhage at Salford Royal Hospital in England.
The UK’s Daily Mail has reported that Ferguson’s family had reported that the 76-year old former Manchester United Manager has sat up and spoke to family members on Monday.
This follows successful surgery on the 76-year-old. His response to treatment has given encouragement and cautious optimism to those close to him. However, Ferguson remains in intensive care unit (ICU) with doctors saying they anticipate the road to recovery to be slow.
