FDC’s POA challenges NRM about telling lies
Recently in Rubirizi District, President Yoweri Museveni reiterated for the umpteenth time that the Opposition tells lies. This apparently annoyed the FDC President, Patrick Oboi Amuriat, a.k.a POA, who challenged president Museveni about the wrong things they (NRM) do. He said that the NRM Government has failed to work for the people.
He defied Museveni to come forward and tell Ugandans what lies the FDC has been telling about his (Museveni’s NRM regime). Presumably, POA is willing to take up Museveni on those lies. This could turn out as an informative contest.
This has come at the time of political upheaval that has followed the August 13th Arua by-elections. That event has seen the dramatic rise of MP Robert Kyagulanyi, a.k.a Bobi Wine, and the People Power, Our Power Movement.
In the political shaking that is following, Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu, has finally broken off from the FDC. Where is he headed to? Some people speculate that he is likely to graft himself to the NRM. Others think that he is trying to upstage Bobi Wine to eventually have People Power registered on his behalf. Many politicians and their parties are trying hard to read Bobi Wine and to imitate People Power. We are here to see!
