Ethiopian Aircraft Overshoots Runway at Entebbe, Flights cancelled

Passengers and crew on an Ethiopian flight survived an accident today morning at Entebbe when the airplane they were travelling in overshot the runway during landing
The incident took place Thursday at 12:41am, according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), causing the delay of other flights to and from the airport.
The CAA said in a statement: “Ethiopian airlines B-737-800 aircraft with registration number ET-ATV with flight number ET348 January on regular scheduled service from Addis Ababa to Entebbe Uganda skipped off the runway during landing. All the 138 passengers and the crew disembarked safely.”
The authority said the passengers and crew were safely deplaned and there was no damage to the aircraft.
The cause of the incident is still unknown.
