Geoffrey Lutaaya loses Durban Motel over Ribah

The Quoran advises Muslims never to borrow money that is to be repaid with Ribah! How I wish Singer Geoffrey Lutaaya applied Islamic norms before he borrowed from the bank.

For the uninitiated, Ribah is the interest paid  by a borrower to the lender. Sometimes this money is so unrealistic that it can totally drive the borrower out of business.

Thus, it is not a surprise that the curse spell of Ribah has now fallen on Taata Pius that even his hard earned investment Durban Motel located at Najanankumbi on Entebbe road highway has been taken over by Stanbic Bank over a debt.

Mbu the man borrowed only 45million but knowing that Ribah debts multiply like ducklings it has now swelled to 80 million.

Now this is definitely not good news for Maama and Taata Pius especially since the children are about to join higher institutions.

Our hearts go out to Geoffrey Lutaaya on this loss – Sorry mate
