Veteran newscaster Bbale Francis passes on
RIP: Bbale Francis
The celebrated Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) news succumbed to cancer of the bladder.
According to UBC public relations officer Jane Kasumba, has been in charge of training young talent in news anchoring. He was slated to be transported to India but lack of funds failed the endevour.
Bbale Francis is remembered for his unique accent. He worked for the national broadcaster UBC (formerly UTV and Radio Uganda) for over 25 years.
Many Ugandan journalists also went through his hands as students at UMCAT but also fellow workers.
