UNRA should look at roads around Kampala
Uganda National Road Authority has been chest-thumping that they have delivered on the roads in the country. They go ahead to mention a few high-profile roads they have done like; the oil roads, the Entebbe Expressway, and the like.
But Allen Kagina gleefully ignores the fact that just around Kampala, here; the access roads are in an appalling state. Just mention the Katosi road in Mukono where theft of the money and materials meant to build the road has made it impossible for it to be completed.
When it rains, as it is doing these days, we simply have to wade through the mud. Rather than congratulating them for very little, UNRA should tarmac all the murrum access roads to Kampala city from all of its four corners. Then after that we will come out and praise Kagina.
