Norwich led city 2- 0 in just 30 minutes through Kenny McLean header before Todd Cantwell inflicted a second a second blow through a smart move involving Marco Stiepermann and Teemu Pukki.
Although City scored on the break through a Sergio Aguero’s header, the Canaries top striker Teemu Pukki extended the hosts lead to three goals after city succumbed to defensive mistakes.
Pukki’s fantastic display left little doubt about his exceptional class, but also took his tally to 6 goals and only behind Chelsea’s Abraham on 8 and Aguero’s 7 goals this season.The defeat leaves the defending champions five points behind table leaders Liverpool.
Analysts have described City’s loss as a wake up call to manager Pep Guardiola’s especially regarding his defence.
